Phase 3: Chef Specials

[Mudras, Ayurveda, Moon Phases, Menstrual Cycle]

While working with clients over the years, I started to notice that many of them had a special interest in mudras.

They were also curious about Ayurveda and wanted to learn more about the moon and female cycle and how they can support sleep and the overall wellbeing.

I expanded more into mudras and Ayurveda to give you tangible tools and just a brief intro to the moon and your menstrual cycle to work with these in our private sessions.

Think of this as the Cherry on Top!

The more you learn about mudras, ayurveda, moon phases, and the menstrual cycle the more fascinating it all becomes.

I’m particularly interested in how the moon and the female cycle get together to remind us of how nature and our bodies have a way of healing. The inner healing guide is already inside you, you just need to allow it to guide you.

Are you ready?

Module 9

Mudras

What’s Mudras?

Mudras are gestures that can be done with the hands, face, and body to promote physical health, psychological balance, and spiritual awakening. Mudra practice allows us to explore and integrate all the dimensions of our being. This supports our journey toward health, healing, and awakening.
You can begin by holding each mudra for five to ten breaths, gradually working up to holding each gesture for up to five minutes or until it feels comfortable.
Don’t worry about trying all the mudras, explore the ones you feel attracted to and pay particular attention to the ones you feel more resistant to.

Lesson 62: Your Dosha Constitution

If you do not know anything about Ayurveda, think of it as the wisdom of “Abuelitas” passed down from generation to generation. Ayurveda is believed to be the oldest continuously practiced form of medicine in the world. Subsequent generations have taught us about living in balance with nature through simple guidelines and practices.

Just like our mothers and grandmothers are filled with wisdom, and have their unique remedies and wellness secrets, Ayurveda teaches us that the body, the senses, the mind and the soul are the four main components of life; without their constant connection, it is said, life cannot exist.

We all have innate strengths and gifts, as well as many challenging areas in our life and health. The doshas (vata, pitta and kapha) are wonderful tools for understanding, recognizing and correcting any imbalances in our systems.

Watch the video to learn more about your dosha constitution.

Lesson 63: Ayurvedic Clock

Ayurvedic daily regimen for self-care works with the three energetic forces of nature (vata, pitta, and kapha). They all have a natural influence throughout the day, different times requiring particular actions in the environment around us and in our bodies.
Self-awareness through daily self-care practices directly supports balance and well-being.
